SERVICES
Vision Therapy
Vision Therapy (VT) is a personalized, non-surgical approach to improving visual function and comfort. Through a series of guided exercises, VT addresses a range of visual issues, including eye coordination, focusing, and perceptual skills. Designed to meet individual needs, VT can enhance reading abilities, reduce eye strain, and improve overall visual efficiency. In cases where balance issues or motion sickness are secondary to binocular vision dysfunction, vision therapy can help improve control of eye movements to help decrease these symptoms. At Orbital Vision PLLC, we strive to provide high-quality, targeted vision therapy services to patients of all ages and visual needs.

Pediatric Vision Exams
Early eye exams are crucial for your child’s development & overall well-being. Pediatric eye exams are designed to detect vision issues that can affect learning, coordination, and daily activities. Our comprehensive evaluations assess visual function, eye-teaming skills, and overall eye health, identifying problems such as nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, eye turns (strabismus), and “lazy eye” (amblyopia) before they truly impact your child’s growth. If needed, glasses and/or vision therapy can be prescribed to help ensure your child’s visual success in school, sports, or other visual tasks.
InfantSEE
Our residency-trained pediatric optometrist is a registered provider of the American Optometric Association’s national InfantSEE program. This program provides critical eye health and vision care to infants between 6 to 12 months of age. InfantSEE provides early intervention using necessary specialized equipment and procedures not typically available as a part of most vision screenings. By detecting problems early, we can ensure that babies effectively develop the visual abilities they need to grow and learn.
InfantSEE providers agree to provide infants between the ages of 6 to 12 months their first comprehensive eye assessment at no charge regardless of family income or access to insurance coverage. Orbital Vision PLLC proudly participates in this national program to help promote successful visual development amongst our youngest patients.

Visual Information Processing & Development Assessments
The way our brains process visual information is a crucial aspect of how we interpret and respond to the world around us. This cognitive skill involves the brain’s ability to analyze and make sense of visual input, including recognizing patterns, understanding spatial relationships, and integrating visual data with other sensory information. Effective visual processing is essential for activities such as reading, writing, mathematics, driving, sports, balance, and other visual tasks required for school and work.
At Orbital Vision PLLC, we can assess the status of these visual processing skills and help promote their development in students of all ages and their recovery for those suffering from concussions and brain injuries. Through targeted exercises and strategies, individuals can enhance their ability to process visual information effectively and efficiently, leading to improved coordination, academic performance, and a more accurate perception of their environment.

Concussion Management
Orbital Vision PLLC is motivated to prevent severe brain injury in patients at high risk of concussion, such as students or pro-athletes. We have assessments we can use to measure cognitive function before and after a concussive incident that can help determine the severity of post-concussive symptoms and guide rehabilitation therapy should that be required.
Schedule an appointment today to establish baseline testing before a head injury occurs or to treat symptoms such as light sensitivity, changes in depth perception, eye strain, headaches, double vision, or vision loss that can develop following a concussive event.
Neuro-Optometry
Neuro-optometric services focus on the connection between vision and the brain, addressing visual impairments caused by neurological conditions such as stroke, concussion, traumatic brain injury, and neurological disorders. By evaluating how the brain processes visual information, we can develop personalized treatment plans to improve visual function and quality of life. Our comprehensive approach includes vision therapy, specialized lenses, and rehabilitation techniques to address issues like double vision, visual field loss, and coordination or balance difficulties.
